Midweek Activity

The view from our break time picnic table.  Where can you get a scene
like this on your break?
Tuesday afternoon, I had a chance to spend some time cooling off on the beach.  Sonny kindly finished the last 3 campsites so I could get out of the hot, dusty work clothes. The water temp took a long time getting used to but after a while, I was able to float around on my noddle ducking the super soaker water fights going on around me.  Later in the evening, Sonny and I  walked the beach on litter patrol.  The public seems to be more in tuned with picking up after themselves this year though I did find a diaper stuffed in the hole of a log.  That disposable must have had a gallon of liquid in it.
We took a ride into Plain looking for RV light bulbs at the hardware store which also sells coffee treats.  It's a
multifaceted operation but didn't have the right ones we needed.
On Sonny's 55th birthday, we spent the weekend in Leavenworth.  We drove out to this lodge for dinner and an evening snowmobile tour up into the mountains behind.  The meal and the ambiance were wonderful.

Children's work

Gathered materials for creation.

Moss nicely rolled into balls.

Didn't expect to find a sand dollar at Lake Wenatchee but here's
one  I found on the picnic table.

This grouping included a few painted rocks.

What do you suppose is the story being told here?
